It was a great experience last week at HostingCon! Being in an industry that’s spread all over the world means that we don’t get nearly enough time to interact with our customers and partners face-to-face, and it was wonderful to get a chance to do so. If you weren’t able to make it out, here’s a run-down of what went down.
On Monday, we spent most of the day in sessions and setting up with Calxeda, the ARM chip maker. We’ve been partnering with them to make InterWorx the first hosting control panel compatible with ARM architecture, and at the exhibit hall we demoed InterWorx clustering a 24-node ARM server made by Boston.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we showed off our cluster and did what we like doing best: telling people about InterWorx. Here’s a video of Brett giving our demo:
We’re very excited about the potential ARM servers have for saving our customers tons in operating costs due to their ultra-low power requirements. Interested in keeping up with our progress? Sign up for the update list!
Also, never hesitate to share with us a feature request, comment, concern, etc. — there’s no need to wait until we can talk face to face! You can use the comments here in the blog, our forums, our FB page, our Twitter page, our Google+ page, or good ol’ fashioned email.
