View Full Version : Default DNS servers : updating

When changing the default NameServers in Nodeworx, it seems that it only effects future domains and doesn't apply to existing domains. This may be by design, and understandably so.

However, it might be a nice option (tick box, etc) to be able to apply NameServer changes to "All Existing Domains." For example: ns1.fooblah.com catches on fire and you quickly want all of your domains to point at ns2 and ns3 instead of ns1 and ns2. You then could enter the new NameServer entries and apply them globally (if needed).

I think that we currently have to manually edit a change of this sort in each existing domain's zone file, no?
