Webmail
The popularity of Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, and other assorted web based email services has prompted many web hosting providers to provide web interfaces for their users to access the email accounts which come with their hosting accounts.
There are many third party programs which fill this need. We have chosen two of the most popular and integrated it into InterWorx-CP: Horde/IMP and Squirrelmail.
Both Horde/IMP and Squirrel webmail programs are accessible from the SiteWorx e-mail menu (under “Webmail”), and also at the following url for any account on the system: http://mydomain.com/webmail
Horde Webmail
“Horde Internet Messaging Program (IMP, Horde’s PHP webmail implementation) is one of several implementations of the Horde Framework. IMP is the Internet Messaging Program. It is written in PHP and provides webmail access to IMAP and POP3 accounts.” (Quoted from Horde web page)

Squirrelmail
“SquirrelMail is a standards-based webmail package written in PHP4. It includes built-in pure PHP support for the IMAP and SMTP protocols, and all pages render in pure HTML 4.0 (with no JavaScript required) for maximum compatibility across browsers. It has very few requirements and is very easy to configure and install.
