ScriptWorx FAQ

Does InterWorx-CP Support an Auto-Script Installer Like Fantastico or Application Vault?

Yes, InterWorx-CP 2.x has something called ScriptWorx which works on the same principle.

What scripts come with with ScriptWorx?

Please view our Available Scripts List.

Users who don’t find their favorite script on the list are free to suggest them via the forums at http://interworx.com/forums/

Can I add my own scripts to ScriptWorx?

Yes, this functionality is available in InterWorx 3.0.

How much does ScriptWorx cost?

Unlike it’s competitors, Fantastico, Application Vault, and Installatron, ScriptWorx is a FREE component of InterWorx-CP. However, some hosts may wish to charge extra for access to it.

I just got my box set up, created a SiteWorx account, and logged in. I want to install a ScriptWorx script but I'm not seeing the option. What's going on?

By default, ScriptWorx is disabled in new installs.

Here is now to enable it.

  1. Go to the NodeWorx => ScriptWorx screen
  2. Enable ScriptWorx using the drop down menu at the top of the screen
  3. Select the check boxes next to the scripts you want to enable
  4. Select Enable from the drop down menu at the bottom

Now make sure it is enabled for that account (if you haven’t done so already):

  1. Go to the SiteWorx =>Accounts screen in NodeWorx
  2. Click Edit next to the SiteWorx account in question
  3. Under Package Options, Make sure ScriptWorx has Yes selected
  4. Save changes if needed

That’s it

Is it possible to completely remove a script from ScriptWorx?

Yes, removal is very simple, but must be done manually at this time, just removing a directory and a php class from the directory.

The class (.php) files are stored in:

/home/interworx/include/scriptworx

The archives and sql files are stored in:

/home/interworx/lib/scriptworx

Removing Script.php and ScriptManager.php from include/scriptworx will result in a broken system. Do not do this.

Is it safe to remove Script.php and ScriptManager.php from include/scriptworx?

No, these are integral files for ScripWorx, and should NEVER be removed. Doing so will disable ScriptWorx.
