How to Delete an IP Address From the System

Prerequisites

The IP address to be deleted must exist and must not have any SiteWorx Accounts associated with it.

Purpose

This procedures will detail how to delete an IP address from the system and/or from the InterWorx-CP.

Procedure - Delete an IP Address From the System

  1. Click on the Server menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    IP Management item.
  3. You should now be looking at the IP Management controls in the main content area.
  4. Locate the IP Address List section
  5. Find the IP Address you wish to remove from the system.
  6. Select No from the drop-down list in the Active on System column.
  7. Select No from the drop-down list in the Active in IWorx-CP column.
  8. Select Commit Changes from the drop-down list at the bottom of the IP Address table.
  9. The IP address(es) will be removed from the list.
  10. You will see the following set of messages at the top of the screen:
    » IP deleted from system successfully : ipaddress
    » DNS server unmapped successfully
