How to Delete a DNS Listening Server

  • At least 2 InterWorx-CP Servers, one listening to the other’s DNS.

Purpose

The purpose of this how-to is to walk you through the process of deleting a DNS Listener Server.

Procedure

 This procedure can be done on either the listening server, or the listened-to server.

  1. Click on the System Services menu if it is not already expanded.
  2. Click on the ♦    DNS Server submenu if it is not already expanded.
  3. Click on the      ◊    Syncronization item.
  4. You should now be looking at the DNS Management :: Synchronization controls in the main content area.
  5. Mark the checkbox that corresponds to the server or servers you’d like to delete the DNS listening for.
  6. Select Delete ... from the drop-down list at the bottom of the Synchronized DNS Servers table.
  7. Click Remove on the confirmation screen that is displayed.
