How To Change the POP3 Connection Limit

The following procedures explain how to change the POP3 connection limit. The connection limit determines how many simultaneous POP3 connections are allowed on the mail server.

1. Click on the System Services menu if it is not already expanded.
2. Click on the ♦    Mail Server submenu if it is not already expanded.
3. Click on the      ◊    MDA Settings item.
4. You should now be looking at the Mail Server Management :: MDA controls in the main content area.
5. Locate the MDA Server Information [POP3] section.
6. In the POP3 Connections (max) field, enter the number of POP3 connections you wish to allow.
7. Click the Update button.
8. You will see the following set of messages at the top of the screen:

   » POP3 settings updated successfully
   » Service successfully restarted
