Manage Default Character Set

An existing SiteWorx account.

Sets the default character set used for this directory and subdirectories.

1. Click on the Site Services menu if it is not already expanded.
2. Click on the ♦    Directory Options item.
3. You should now be looking at the Directory Options Management controls in the main content area.
4. Click the Default Character Set link for the directory you’d like to manage.
5. In the Default Character Set column, enter the default character set you’d like to use. As you type, the field will auto-complete with some of the more commonly used character sets.
6. Click the Add button.
7. You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » Default character set added: directory

2. Click on the ♦    Directory Options item.
3. You should now be looking at the Directory Options Management controls in the main content area.
4. Click the Default Character Set link for the directory you’d like to manage.
5. Click the Edit button next to the listed character set.
6. In the Default Character Set column, enter the default character set you’d like to use. As you type, the field will auto-complete with some of the more commonly used character sets.
7. Click the Save button.
8. You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » Default character set edited: directory

1. Click on the Site Services menu if it is not already expanded.
2. Click on the ♦    Directory Options item.
3. You should now be looking at the Directory Options Management controls in the main content area.
4. Click the Default Character Set link for the directory you’d like to manage.
5. Click the Delete button next to the listed character set.
6. You will be asked to confirm the deletion of the default character set. Click the Delete button to finish.
7. You will see the following message at the top of the screen: » Default character set successfully deleted: directory
