How to Install a Script with ScriptWorx
Prerequisites

- An existing SiteWorx account.
- ScriptWorx must be enabled by the server administrator.
- Some scripts require databases and database users. There must be sufficient free databases and database users to install these scripts.
- Sufficient disk space to install the script must be available.
Purpose
ScriptWorx allows the user to quickly and easily install a number of commonly used web applications, including blog software, content management systems, e-commerce software, forum software, etc.
Procedure - Install a script via ScriptWorx
- Click on the menu if it is not already expanded.
- Click on the ♦ ScriptWorx item.
- You should now be looking at the ScriptWorx controls in the main content area.
- Depending on the scripts the server administrator has enabled, you will see a list of available scripts to install.
- Click the [ Install ] link next to the script you want to install.
- Decide on a location for this script to be installed on the website. You can enter a directory/folder name, or leave that box blank if you want the script installed in the web root.
- Fill out the form that follows. This varies depending on what information the selected script needs to be installed.
- Click the button.
- You should see a message informing you of the script’s successful installation, and a link to where the script was installed.
