NFS Exports

Purpose

You can add NFS (Network File System) Exports that will allow other servers to mount file systems on this server over the network.

Procedure - Add an Exported NFS Share

  1. Click the Icon System Services menu item if it is not already open.
  2. Click the Icon NFS Server menu item if it is not already open.
  3. Click the Icon Exports menu item.
  4. Enter the directory you want to export in the "Directory To Export" box. For example, "/shared".
  5. Enter IP Addresses that will be permitted to mount this directory as a remote file system in the "IP Allow List" box, one per line.
  6. Choose if this should be a Read Only or Read / Write type export.
  7. Set the Root User Access option for this export (Disabled or Enabled)
  8. Choose the Sync Options setting. The two options are 'Asyncronous' or 'Syncronous'.
  9. Click the button.
  10. You will see the following message at the top of the screen: NFS shared successfully added : directoryIP Address(s).
