Subdomains are domains of the form sub.mydomain.com. They point to the mydomain.com/sub folder when they are created.

How to: Add a Subdomain

  1. Click the Hosting Features menu item if it is not already open.
  2. Click the Domains menu item if it is not already open.
  3. Click the Subdomain menu item.
  4. Enter your desired Subdomain into the Subdomain text box.
  5. Click the Add button.

How to: Delete a Subdomain

  1. Click the Hosting Features menu item if it is not already open.
  2. Click the Domains menu item if it is not already open.
  3. Click the Subdomain menu item.
  4. Click the Delete button next to the Subdomain you wish to delete.
  5. Click the Delete button under the ‘Confirm deletion of’ message.

    • InterWorx: Sorry about that -- just updated the post to remove the "edit" mention. It was removed some time ago due to redundancy :)

  2. James Wagoner: Version 5.0.10 Does not have an edit link, just a delete. Also is there no way to specify a target path for a subdomain?

    • InterWorx: By default, subdomain paths are as follows: /home/"user"/"domain"/html/"subdomain" At present, it isn't possible to change the default path
