InterWorx-CP provides a simple to use interface for managing SSL Certificates on an InterWorx-CP System. From the SSL Certificate Management screen you can view and edit a service’s SSL Certificate, generate a self signed SSL Certificate, and update all services in a single step.
How to: View a Service’s SSL Certificate
- Click the Server menu item if it is not already open.
- Click the SSL Certificates menu item.
- Locate the service that you would like to view.
- Click on the [ View ] link in the Action column.
How to: Edit a Service’s SSL Certificate
- Click the Server menu item if it is not already open.
- Click the SSL Certificates menu item.
- Locate the service that you would like to edit.
- Click on the [ Edit ] link in the Action column.
- Enter the Private Key.
- Enter the SSL Certificate.
- Most services require that they be restarted before the SSL Certificates will be applied. The service restarts are usually very fast, and you shouldn’t notice any significant service interruption.
- Select Yes if you would like the services to be restarted immediately.
- Select No if you don’t want the services to be restarted immediately.
- Click the button.
How to: Generate a Self-Signed SSL Certificate
- Click the Server menu item if it is not already open.
- Click the SSL Certificates menu item.
- Click on the [ Generate a Self-Signed SSL Certificate ] link.
- Enter all of the required information.
- If you would like the certificate e-mailed to you, check the E-mail SSL Certificate checkbox and enter your e-mail address.
- Select which services the SSL Certificate should be installed to upon generation.
- Most services require that they be restarted before the SSL Certificates will be applied. The service restarts are usually very fast, and you shouldn’t notice any significant service interruption.
- Select Yes if you would like the services to be restarted immediately.
- Select No if you don’t want the services to be restarted immediately.
- Click the button.
How to: Update All SSL Certificates on Services
- Click the Server menu item if it is not already open.
- Click the SSL Certificates menu item.
- Click on the [ Update All Services ] link.
- Select the services that you wish you update.
- Most services require that they be restarted before the SSL Certificates will be applied. The service restarts are usually very fast, and you shouldn’t notice any significant service interruption.
- Select Yes if you would like the services to be restarted immediately.
- Select No if you don’t want the services to be restarted immediately.
- Enter the Private Key.
- Enter the SSL Certificate.
- Click the button.
