Jonathan Halewood: Add a feature to allow use of Git and a GitDeploy type service from within SiteWorx for end users. This could be a major selling point for web developers who need to work with strict version control, whilst keeping to tight deadlines.

  1. Mikael Pettersson: Interesting Idea. We are testing git on our servers, but at the moment it's not a feature we support. It requires the customer to supply us with a public key, and that we activate shell access to the account. Since the user executes git with the customer account user, and we use LVE+CageFS the security issues are taken care of. The only problem we have now, is that the path default to /, instead of ~/, I would also like to be able have simpler paths, as you right now need to have 'cuser@server.com/home/cuser/cuser.com/html/' as your repo url. I would like to be able to have 'cuser@server.com/cuser.git' as the url instead... still haven't found a solution for that.
