How to: Set the DNS Zone Defaults

The following procedure explains how to set the DNS zone values such as refresh time, retry time, expiration time, and minimum TTL.

  1. Click the System Services menu item if it is not already open.
  2. Click the DNS Server menu item if it is not already open.
  3. Click the Overview menu item.
  4. Locate the Zone Defaults section.
  5. Update the values you wish to change.
  6. Click the Update button in the Zone Defaults section.
