Why does InterWorx Control Panel need to “call home” periodically?

The product needs to contact a licensing server to enforce licenses. Anyone can download our software, the only thing that guarantees it has been paid for is the periodic license check. I just ordered, where is my license key?

All of our orders from new clients are manually verified before the license keys are issued. Reseller partners and verified clients will receive new license keys within minutes of purchase. If you do not get your license key issued within 12 hrs please email sales@interworx.com with your order number and we will look into it.
